Hawaiian Hotels and Resorts - Powered by Honeymoon Wishes
Michelle Christine McClellan & John Anthony Pericin III
Location: The Cove, Makena, Maui, Hawaii
We are extremely thankful to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives. We are truly blessed! We are so excited for our wedding and hope you will all be able to come. We want to thank you for being a part of our most memorable day! Given the fact you already know us, we wont bore you with a cheesy biography.
Our wedding ceremony will take place on the beach in Maui, Hawaii. It is a very beautiful, intimate beach known as the Secret Cove, located in Makena, Maui. To view this spectacular beach go to this site: http://www.beachmauiweddings.com/makena-360/index.html

The ceremony will start at 8:30 am on May 20th 2009. Please arrive by 8:15 when the violinist will begin music. If you are wondering why so early its because the morning promises turquoise waters, less heat, and a better chance for privacy. The ceremony will run for about 20 min, with photography lasting approximately 2 hours. A luncheon reception will follow at a separate location.
We do not have a color scheme for our wedding. We want you to be comfortable with whatever you wear. Just a note most of us will be semi-formal and somewhat casual.

Directions to Makena Cove Beach

From Kihei/Wailea :

Take Hwy 31 South you will pass a series of 4 more stop lights, depending on where you are in Kihei. Stay on Hwy. 31 until it comes to a dead end and you are forced to turn Right onto Wailea Iki Dr.

This area is know as Wailea. Go all the way down to a 3 way stop (where they are building the New Wailea Shopping center) & turn Left onto Wailea Alanui Dr. About 5-7 min. Down the road you will pass the Kea Lani Hotel (you cant miss it, its all white with pine trees in the front)

Continue on about another 3-4 minutes on Wailea Alanui Dr., You'll see a sign to the left that reads Makena Resort (there will be some construction going on in this area) just after passing that sign to your right is the Maui Prince hotel the last hotel on this road. Passing the Prince hotel you continue on about 4-5 more minutes passing 1 street to your right, then passing 2 parking lots, also on the right, the famous "Big Beach" entrances. You will then go up a slight hill and after the hill on the right side of the road there is a house with the address of 6900 S MAKENA RD, KIHEI then you will see a 6 to 7 foot black lava rock wall.

Park there and walk to the opening in the wall. This is Makena Cove also known as Secret Cove. As soon as you step on the little beach you'll know you're in the right spot it's the prettiest beach on the island. Note this is a public beach so there very well could be another wedding taking place the same time & day of our wedding. Due to the small size of the beach, guest

ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS:

The dates we will be in maui are: May 17th (Sunday) to May 22nd (Friday) of 2009, and from there Johnny and I are off to Lanai (smallest island) for another five days of bliss!

Feel free to stay anywhere on the island you desire. We will be staying in condos at the "Palms at Wailea". Some are privately owned and some are owned by Outrigger Company. There are many websites to find these condos, just google it. Most of the condos range from one to two bedrooms and some with a sleeper sofa. The problem we found with outrigger is they cant guarantee which condo until arrival. Our condos are #1101 and #1105 located at the back end of the resort, which is closer to the beach and further from the center of the complex. If you need help with finding condos at the Palms just call us, we have done a lot of research.

If interested, here are a couple sites to get you started for condos at the palms:
